ETH Zurich, 14 June 2019
The second Insurance Data Science Conference at RiskLab (ETH Zurich) follows on from its first edition at Cass Business School (London) and five iterations of the R in Insurance conferences. This one-day conference is an exciting international event that brings together industry and academia in the fields of insurance and computer sciences.
The aim of this conference is to share and present the latest developments in the fields of insurance data science, statistical learning and machine learning. This includes technological developments, and mainly focuses on applications in insurance pricing, reserving, risk assessment and modeling, customer analytics, capital management, catastrophe and econometric modelling.
The two keynote speakers Joachim Buhmann (Professor of ETH Zurich) and Ronald Richman (Chief Actuary at AIG, South Africa) will be sharing their view of machine learning in insurance, a panel discussion will be illustrating the future potential of this field, and the community is invited to submit their latest ideas to be presented at this conference.
We are looking forward to seeing you at ETH Zurich on 14 June, 2019!
